Stretch film, also known as stretch film and heat shrink film, was first produced in China using PVC as the base material and DOA as the plasticizer and self-adhesive effect of PVC stretch film. Due to environmental problems, high cost (relative to PE, less packaging area per unit) and poor stretchability, PE stretch film was phased out when domestic production began in 1994-1995. The base material is mainly LLDPE, including C4, C6, C8 and metallocene PE (MPE).

It is produced by using imported LLDPE resin and tackifier special additives proportional formula, and can produce multifunctional winding film for hand, resistance type machine, pre-stretch type machine, anti-UV, anti-static and anti-rust. It has the following advantages:
1. Using double-layer co-extrusion equipment, the pressed winding film can maximize the characteristics of all each polymer, its transparency, tensile strength, and perforation resistance, reaching the optimal state at the melting point.
2. It has good tensile properties, good transparency, and uniform thickness.
3. It has longitudinal elongation, good resilience, good horizontal tear resistance, and excellent self-adhesive lap.
4. It is environmentally friendly recyclable material, tasteless, non-toxic, can be directly packaged food.
5. can manufacture single-sided adhesive products, reduce the noise issued during the winding and stretching process, reduce dust and sand in the process of transportation and storage.
Application
1. Sealed packaging
This type of packaging is similar to shrink film packaging, where the film is wrapped around the pallet to wrap it all up, and then two heat grippers heat seal the film at both ends together. This is the earliest form of wrap-around film used and has led to the development of many more forms of packaging
2. Full width packaging
This type of packaging requires the film to be wide enough to cover the pallet, which has a regular shape, so it is suitable for use with a film thickness of 17 to 35μm.
3.Manual packaging
This kind of packaging is the simplest kind of wrapping film packaging, film mounted on a shelf or by hand-held, by the pallet rotation or film around the pallet. It is mainly used in the repacking of wrapped pallets after breakage, and ordinary pallet packaging. This kind of packaging is slow and the suitable film thickness is 15 to 20 μm.
